Why I think Bush is in trouble this time. A new phenom!!
I have been seeing, in my regional area, something I have never seen before in a political election. I think this bodes REALLY REALLY BADLY for Bush!

Picture a car plastered with Republican candidate's stickers, GOP and flag stickers, etc. Right in the center of the stickers you find.... JOHN KERRY FOR PRESIDENT. No lie! I have seen numerous cars and trucks, and yard signs together with that WIERD combination!

If we're seeing republican bumber stickers for every candidate but Bush, and instead John Kerry in the sea of republican candidates, you KNOW that Bush is in BIG trouble.

The Republicans are definitely trying to steal the election, precinct by precinct, between misleading voters, throwing out ballots, etc. But the truth is.. Bush is in trouble.

4. I've not seen cars so much but . . .
lots of yards that have every Republican candidate represented _except_ *. They don't go so far as to put up a Kerry/Edwards sign, but you get the distinct feeling that they ain't supportin' you-know-who!

And this is in small-town NC.

3. True Conservatives LOATHE the neocon agenda, the problem is
most conservatives aren't aware of how opposite the neo-con agenda is from theirs.

6. Yep, I saw a truck the other day
with a "These Colors Don't Run" sticker, a "F*ck Terrorism" sticker (really, what the heck does that mean?) and another flag sticker, and...a Kerry/Edwards sticker! I almost drove off the road.

But it's cool.

12. In SW Portland
someone has a big-ass "Goli Ameri" (Repub. Congressional candidate) sign next to a big-ass Kerry/Edwards sign. That to me says Repub. who is voting for Kerry on the top of the ticket.

9. McConnell/The American Conservative magazine just endorsed Kerry
http://www.amconmag.com/2004_11_08/cover1.html
or use the truthout link if you don't want to go to their website:
http://www.truthout.org/docs_04/102304W.shtml

McConnell goes on about why the bush presidency is a disaster for the republican party and conservatives in general, and why a (one term, he thinks) Kerry presidency is preferable. His opinions about Kerry may be off the mark, but the condemnation of bush is about as harsh as anything I've read at DU. Send this article on to your intractible bush-pushin' relative, you know you have one.

15. Thanks..After hearing that Ed Koch is voting for Bush today..
Both of these posts cheered me up. I've noticed sililarities here (West Texas) but not nearly so obvious as my parents neighborhood in Houston, which is consistently Republican (except for them).

10. I have also
noticed that here in Kansas. It always makes me look twice then grin a lot. Quite a few cars with conflicting stickers around here. I am glad to know it is happening elsewhere.

11. Yes, I sense the people are AGAINST Bush, but the GOP WANTS POWER
...more than some dirty votes from 'the people'...I predict the sham polls, the media blitz, the GOP talking headings ( swarming EVERYWHERE ) are all the prop up Bush and make the stolen election look legit.

Everyone must be on alert, the Republicans will do WHATEVER it takes to seize power.

14. I saw a similar car in PA; covered in flags and 9/11 stickers and
prominently... John Kerry 4 President.

I am flying my country's flag again proudly with my Kerry and Rush Holt yard signs.

This is my damn country and it's my damn flag!
