Obama campaigning - in SC
Wow, his opponent in IL is such a non-threat, he can campaign in the final week or so of an election cycle for others in other parts of the coutnry.

This is great.

Wonder if he's traveling throughout the south, which we've heard, Kerry has "conceeded" -?

WA-effin'-HOO! It's a fine, fine day!

6. He's been doing it for the past month
Obama is so far out in front he's been raising money to elect other Senate Democrats. Illinois is doing the nation a big service by sending Durbin and Obama to the Senate.

14. Last I heard, he's ahead by 45%
...which is damn near impossible in a two-person race anyway!

However, I gotta hand it to Alan Keyes though...every time he opens his mouth, he just proves how fucking apeshit he truly is!

GO OBAMA!!!

Catch it soon; it's an embarrassment and will be gone by tomorrow, I suspect.

7. I was working...
in Springfield, IL during the debate between Obama and Keyes. It was crazy. I had to stay in a dump because all of the hotel rooms were full. Obama bumper stickers and yard signs were everywhere. There is no way Keyes has a chance in hell to win. He was so far in debt from campaigning before he moved to IL. I wonder how he will recover after he loses?

8. I have never seen an Alan Keyes sign.
Truth be told, Obama doesn't even need to be in Illinois to win. Keyes was DISGRACEFUL in his last debate with Obama.

11. I see some...
Keyes signs when I'm working in IL but I never see them alone. They are always mixed in with a cluster of signs for other repubs running. They have extras at the repub office that nobody wants and they have to do something with them so they put them in empty fields.

9. How totally awesome.
I wish, I wish, I wish he would come to Texas. I fell completely in love with him during the convention.
I just did a quick google search and can't find any info on where he is going next. I would drive to Arkansas or Louisiana to see him.. SC is a wee bit too far.

13. Not Fair. I love Texas, but since everyone assumes we will go
red, no one comes to see us. Well, I take that back. Govenor Dean came. I didn't get to go see him, but wish I had.

17. Awwwww don't cry. We LOVE our Texas Dem patriots
:grouphug::loveya:

After Kerry wins, perhaps that will embolden more Texas Dems to change the attitudes down there a bit.

15. Well,
we actually have a tight senate race going on to fill Senator Holling's seat. So, he is welcome.

18. That's great and all
Edited on Fri Oct-22-04 11:29 PM by RummyTheDummy
But I'm worried about beating Bush. Obama needs to be in South Florida, Philly, Cleveland and Columbus. Seems to me he'd be more useful rallying the base in those areas than campaigning in some senate race we're probably going to lose anyway.

20. I agree with you somewhat.....
Keep in mind that he is coming here likely to get out the African American vote. If this happens the Republican Nazi that is running for the senate seat is toast.
