Any good news?
People at the Salazar campaign are very tense. We fear we may not win the senate race. We fear Kerry may not win the Presidency and we fear that we may not make any gains in the house. I am feeling really cynical right now. I want some good news.

1. Kerry
is going to win. Great polling out of OH today.

Salazar is in a very tough race. Of course it will be close. I think he'll win. Kerry won't win CO, though. That's too much to expect. Salazar's brother will win in CO-3.

3. Yeah.
I think people are tense. I think the thing that really makes me cynical is that Colorado is the most beautiful state in this country. Or at least very close. And all these people would vote to have the beauty destroyed and they don't even know it.

4. keep the faith
Salazar is a great candidate and the people of CO like him. It will be close because of the registration disadvantage. But I think he'll win a close one.

Just today:

- I made 70 GOTV calls to Nevada and I got FIVE who had already voted for Kerry! (Most of the rest weren't home, but still.)
- We had 10 volunteers there tonight, 20 there yesterday. In Texas! Grassroots is doin' it!
- Sinclair doc sounds like it was badly done, probably not watched very much, and only somewhat slanted.
- Polls are close and are within the Margin of Error!
- Big Dog will be campaigning for Kerry soon! Hopefully in Arkansas!
- Undecideds tend to break for the challenger!

xxoo peace love happiness!

go watch this! visualize winning!

The senate race in Alaska is incredibly tight too..

It was (D) Tony Knowles by a mile.. But (R) Lisa "my daddy appointed me" Murkowski has been making major headway since Senator Ted Stevens came out with continuous tv, radio, and newspaper ads pleading to Alaskans to not let Democrats take over the senate and knock him off his important chairmanships.

People here don't particularily like Lisa.. they HATE the nepotism issue, but they consider the 81 year old senator as "Uncle Ted" and it seems his pleas are swaying a lot of voters.. Aside from him, John McCain ads have been blaring non-stop across Alaskan televisions saying that "Alaska cannot hand the senate to Democrats!"

It's getting scary here too..

12. Their "bomb" was a turd that backfired ("Wolves"), Sinclair
pulled its punches and sent Freeperville into turmoil, and Barack Obama is campaigning OUTSIDE of Illinois.

Now turn that beautiful state blue, dammit!
