Which state will officially put Kerry over the top?
The actual 270+, long-planetary-nightmare-is-over top. When the networks call that state, even GE Russert has to reluctantly chalk it up for Kerry.

I say we're going West. It's an election NIGHT, not election week or election month. Much closer than anticipated, but OREGON is finally designated for Kerry, by 2 points or less.

And the DU forums are virtually inaccessible for days:)

2. I'm hoping MN. Cheney called us Bush/Cheney country today.
I want more than just proving him wrong. I want us to give it to Kerry.

7. Good! My area has a lot more Kerry signs than Gore ever did. I am
hopeful we will go Democratic for the 1st time. Trying to get Wetterling in too. I think she has a good chance.

California and Oregon will be called earlier for Kerry than Oregon, more lopsided. The networks will be conservative calling the decisive state after 2000, so it will be a long wait for Oregon and all of its mail-in ballots to be tallied. I noticed it took a long time to count the Oregon vote in 2002.

12. This is a Kerry landslide baby. The swing states that go Kerry will be:
Wisconsin
Virginia
Florida
Ohio
New Hampshire
Nevada
New Mexico
Michigan
Minnesota
Pennsylvania
Washington
Oregon
Iowa
Colorado

Bush will get Missouri, Arizona and North Carolina. That's about it.
So Bush can try and sue his way out of -100 points but I doubt he will win that court battle in every state.
