Who's who behind the scenes in this election?
Bush's cousin was the head election guy at Fox News and was giving him inside information and having a tangible influence on the outcome of the election.

It took watching F9/11 years later for me (and the generally informed general public) to learn that little fact.

What/who are the insiders this time around? Who should we be "outing" before the election so that the election day actions are viewed with skeptacism by the entire country?

1. Fox news does not have a goddamn tangible effect on an election!
What is this with everyone saying that news companies influence the election when there are votes, they are counted, etc? Last time I heard, the news organizations didn't just pick who they thought would win and that's who we went with...

2. It's easy, here goes...

2000 Election comes down to the very final few (thousand) ballots being counted. Statistically, the count is too close to call. Fox and Bush's cousin rush on to TV to announce Bush as the winner.

Other networks had been waiting for any such declaration because they understood as well that it was too close to call. But they follow suit declairing Bush the winner after Fox "broke" the news.

Now even when the ballot count says that it is uncertain who actually won, the news media is now reporting across the board that Bush is the winner.

From this moment forward, Gore is in the undesireable position of having to knock Bush off the mountain so to speak. It will take OVERWHELMING evidence to displace the planted notion (by Fox & Bush's cousin) that Bush won the election (even though it was close).

Gore is now seen as a loser and a poor sport for challenging the loss because there is no "overwhelming" evidence. Not in such a close contest. It becomes nearly impossible to reverse the public perception deliberately implanted by Rove, Bush and his cousin at Fox News.

4. There's No VNS This Year
The networks are on their own to gather the numbers, do the exit polling and we'll have various pollsters shilling their names onto this as well, so there's not going to be one central reporting service like there was in 2000.

I'm surprised that there isn't much mention about there not being a VNS which made it possible to stop ALL the networks by withholding disputed results (which is what they did) and allowed the Bushbot cousin at Faux (who was on the phone to Austin "coughRovecough") to have Faux jump the gun, scream the other networks got it wrong then slipped the Bunnypants won crap and our long nightmare truly began.

5. Hmmm...
I read an article today that starts out like this:

The Associated Press (AP) will be the sole source of raw vote totals for the major news broadcasters on Election Night. However, AP spokesmen Jack Stokes and John Jones refused to explain to this journalist how the AP will receive that information. They refused to confirm or deny that the AP will receive direct feed from voting machines and central vote tabulating computers across the country. But, circumstantial evidence suggests that is exactly what will happen.

And what can be downloaded can also be uploaded. Computer experts say that signals can travel both to and from computerized voting machines through wireless technology, modems, and even simple electricity. Computer scientists have long warned that computer voting is an invitation to vote fraud and system failure. An examination of Diebold election software by several computer scientists, including Dr. Avi Rubin and his staff, proved that secret backdoors can be built into computer programs that allow votes to be easily manipulated without detection.

Rest of article here: http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/041022/phf016_1.html?printer=1

I didn't like the sound of this AT ALL.
