Are You Getting More Excited As Nov. 2 Approaches?
The closer we get to Nov. 2 the more excited I get. At times I do get scared, but after reading so many of the posts which talks about how many new voters there are and how the early voting is going I find I'm getting more excited.

In an area that is predominantly republican seeing the large amount of Kerry/Edwards signs is very encouraging. More often than not I'm finding more people who want shrub out than in.

While there may not be a sea of blue states I'm experiencing a cautious optimism that we'll finally have the kind of leadership this country deserves.

What about the rest of you? How are you feeling with election day getting closer?

2. Well, if you consider constant nausea, panic attacks followed
by waves of almost euphoric positive energy & an inability to sleep excited then I am very, very excited.

9. me too
I just can't think of one good reason why anyone would vote for the dipshit sitting in the White House now. I'm hoping all the polls are wrong and this is a landslide for Kerry.

6. I'm in awful shape
Can't work. I have no faith in this election: whatever the "results" are, they'll be contested, legal battles, GOP dirty tricks. At best, we'll never know who won. At worst, civil war.

10. Really scared at the prospect of this asshat
getting 4 more years.

I seriously will not hold my fellow Americans in very high regard if this shit is allowed to happen a second time.

Seriously, FOUR terrorist actions under Bush's watch (DC Snipers, 9-11, Anthrax and the Shoe Bomber) is unprecedented; six if you want to count our unscrupulous bombing of Viet-raq and Afghanistan, two nations that have never harmed or threatened a single US citizen. Terrorism has increased world wide. His supposed genius NSA Conodsleeza Rice should have been fired on September 12th, 2001.

Bush underfunds security, military protection, VA hospitals and benefits, schools and housing while giving tax breaks to corporations and the rich, giving them full license to offshore jobs and pocket the savings. His administration, despite the spin from factcheck.org, ENDORSES job offshoring based entirely on theory and not reality. His term has yet to see a NET NEW JOB created.

Corporate media is being used as a Republican mouthpiece to the drooling unquestioning of the masses. He's done virtually NOTHING to benefit those making less than $200,000 per year. Arguably, his decisions have cost 30,000 American, British, Iraqi and Afghan lives. There's more damning evidence that his cabinet had something to do with 9-11 than Saddam Hussien did. There's more damning evidence that Rumsferatu has future plans for Asian wars and a military DRAFT than there is for Saddam having the capability to start a war, period.

The cost of just about everything has skyrocketed, as has the deficit and the debt, economically crippling us for generations. The states have had to make up for Bush's irresponsible spend-o-rama. This president and his administration have done nothing but lie almost daily to the American people, dividing us like never before while alienating us from the rest of the world.

Just talk to anyone from eastern Europe, Africa, Asia, Russia, etc. These people I work with will tell you - the World in general is laughing at us as a whole for our supposed support of this dickhead.

And people STILL think this fucking incoherent and bumbling idiot and his deathmongering cabinet are a serious and intelligent choice for America?

WHY is this even CLOSE?

To all freeper lurkers - vote for who you want, but PLEASE, at least have some logical REASONING behind who you vote for.
