"If you don't show your love for the GREAT LEADER, we'll shoot you."
>>One of the latest incidents came when John Sachs, 18, a Johnston High School senior and Democrat, went to see Bush in Clive last week. Sachs got a ticket to the event from school and wanted to ask the president about whether there would be a draft, about the war in Iraq, Social Security and Medicare.

But when he got there, a campaign staffer pulled him aside and made him remove his button that said, "Bush-Cheney '04: Leave No Billionaire Behind." The staffer quizzed him about whether he was a Bush supporter, asked him why he was there and what questions he would be asking the president.

"Then he came back and said, 'If you protest, it won't be me taking you out. It will be a sniper,' " Sachs said. "He said it in such a serious tone it scared the crap out of me."<<

No wonder Bush left education underfunded in No Child Left Behind. Some of the money was needed to pay the snipers.

2. I can understand
the fear factor in this case. But wouldn't that cause more than just a little commotion if a student asking questions was suddenly shot? Would the tee vee cameras catch that, or go to commercial?

sheeeeesh

I'm not making light of the seriousness of this issue.
It HAS to STOP!

3. I know we see these incidents alot, but..
are we becoming jaded by it? It's like another threat, another day. This is downright frightening!! It sounds like a banana republic in the Congo or something. People in other countries need to see this! And undecideds need to see this! I just wonder what would be on MSM if Kerry rallies were like this and people were threatened with a "sniper"...

Not to mention Poppy all but threatening Kerry as well, but that just gets greeted with a chuckle...Imagine if Teresa said it???

Where has my country gone?
:kick:

5. Nazi tactics is the standard MO for Bushco*
Bush will not stand for ANYONE to question him or disagree with him. My guess is he becomes completely unglued, so they have to keep protestors out to prevent the president from showing his complete paranoid delusional self.
