He must be feeling really good about Florida and Ohio to be spending time in Colorado. You notice bush is in Florida.

8. Oh God you missed the point
The point is he feels free to go to states like CO and TX because he is feeling good about OH and FL unlike Bush who will be visiting those staes everyday.

9. Salazar is in a tight, but winning race. Kerry could ride his coattails,
or vice-versa.

Also, Colorado is still planning to apportion their Electoral Votes, to my knowledge. He most definitely SHOULD be there.

14. the environment
Colorado ios winnable becauseof Kerry's environmental record. Thats the only reason it's close now.

If Kerry goes and talks up the environment he can win the state.

19. I think it is a waste considering other close states and the apportionment
Colorado could indeed go to Kerry. But it's also likely that Colorado will split its votes, meaning that a Kerry win in Colorado is only worth a single electoral vote (because he'll get four if he loses). Why not spend time in Iowa or New Mexico or Wisconsin or Minnesota or Ohio?

practically nobody is supporting the electoral vote split now that colorado is so close. colorado votors do not want to be "florida" this election. i doubt it will pass.

An awful ot of people here don't seem to understand the importance of gaining in the legislative branch. Good to find someone who does.

probably and that is what he's making his appearances based on at this point.

I trust his decision on this.

Bush did...then he's coming up to Las Cruces and there will be a contingent of our Texas friends at the rally here.....

I expect to see a lot of our Texas buddies from the Clark contingent here!!

30. On the contrary, going to Colorado is a GREAT move!
Colorado is still winnable for Kerry. Salazar is doing well and Bush*s numbers aren't overwhelming. At the very least, it will make the Chimperor have to fight harder there. Plus if the electoral vote is split, a few percentage points more in the popular vote could grab an extra EC vote.
