Kerry is delivering a message in Spanish (as part of CO stump speech)

Is that new? His accent wasn't great and he had to glance at his notes, but it didn't sound terrible.

Has he done that before? Is his Spanish easily comprehensible?

How many freeps are exclaiming "He spoke French again"?

1. It's about 100 times better than the Shrub's mangled Spanish!

6. Hell, the chimp can't even
speak English. And this time around he's not even trying the teleprompter Spanish. Afraid that playing to minorities will cost him votes among his racist base.

5. No, no, that's Teresa, not John
I believe he only speaks French, other than English, that is. I believe Teresa worked as a translater at one time, which was when she met her first husband.

4. well the fawning press treated shrub like spanish royalty
four years ago, shrub put in a few short spanish sentences in his speeches and sounded like a c- student from second year high school spanish. but the press hailed him like he was royalty and talked about the burgeoning new constituency that is the hispanic community and that surely this would convince millions of hispanics to convert to the republican party.

kerry speaks 5 languages and there's almost no coverage, who cares, right?

i have to ask, though, why spanish in colorado? why would not do this in florida?

oh right, the press would simply accuse him of "pandering".
