when do we get to stop having to listen to bunnypants speak.
good god, please. enough already of this torture!

I know I can turn the TV off, and I do sometimes, but I also study the media, so I am compelled to leave it on. Who could call the media liberal when all they show are Bush's stump speaches in full and only clips of Kerry's. Cspan should cancel their book talks during the last couple weeks of the election and have 1 channell show all Bush stump speaches and one channel show all Kerry. That kind of balance is probably too much to ask for.

When do we get to stop having to suffer through this p-residency? When can we have some dignity in the world again?

I am hoping (and trying my best to envision) that Nov 3rd will be that day.

1. I have a simple answer for you my friend.
Turn off the goddamned TV. Cut the umbilical cord to the right wing punditry. It does us no good and THEM every bit of good to have you worrying about.

2. I holler at the top of my lungs 'till I can switch the channel.
That lying piece of shit makes me ill. I smashed my answering machine because the fucking Repukes kept leaving their lying messages on it. The last message was from (cover your ears) Zell Miller - he wouldn't stop his lies and I couldn't think fast enough to stop his voice - SO I SMASHED MY ANSWERING MACHINE OVER AND OVER AGAIN TILL THE EVIL VOICE STOPPED!! The machine is broken permanently now, but I don't really care as it was an office throw-away given to me and now I can wait for 10 days and go but a new one - one where you can terminate a message without having to listen to it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate them, I hate their images, I hate their voices.

3. I stopped watching TV weeks ago
I don't miss it at ALL. There are hundreds (or maybe even thousands) of news resources online. Likewise, entertainment resources. There is just no good reason to support the talking heads whose jobs are more theatrical entertainment than solid journalistic reporting. Advertisers are NOT getting my eyeballs for free anymore. They can keep their damned sublimnal messages too (you ARE aware they use this, no?)

Read up on how television is being used. This is why they call it "programming."

4. It won't be long now, but in the meantime visualize this.
A stooped and dejected ex-president walks slowly across the White House lawn. His strut and swagger have completely disappeared as he makes his way, head down, toward the waiting Marine One helicopter. As he pauses at the boarding steps his small black terrier raises a leg and pees on his pants cuff. He exhales a defeated breath into the frosty January air and climbs aboard, never looking back, never waving a final farewell.

5. Nov 3rd right after his concession speech.
After that , the press will be more interested in what President-Elect Kerry is doing.
