8. Well exactly...I can think of only a handful of times that * has been
honest:
1) "I've never done anything; I'm basically a media creation." True enough, that still stands.
2) "I don't know where Osama bin Laden is and I really don't care. Frankly, it's not our priority." Yup, he has made that very clear.
3) "Our enemies never stop trying to think of ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." Truer words never spoken.
4) "Here you are, the haves and the have-mores. Some people call you the elite. I call you my base." No shit.
5) "We will not have an all-vounteer army." Never mind that the crowd had to correct him...he was right the first time, if he manages to steal another election.

That's all I can think of as far as his truthfulness goes.

We just got a tip......that a major newspaper will break a front-page story Monday morning that could create a serious problem for the Kerry campaign. We don't yet have any details, but it relates to a foreign policy issue, and it will call into question--amazingly enough--John Kerry's truthfulness.

We'll watch for the story Sunday night and post it as soon as it becomes available.

18. Sunday Night You Say??? I Smell A Drudge...
Of course the Freepers will get excited, they're still waiting for the next Monica story. They've been waiting from that loser for almost 7 years now.

What's it now? Kerry ate French food?

Let them conspire and speculate in their basements...keeps them out of trouble for the next two weeks.

80. To cut the time to rebut.
If it is a major lie it could take a week or more to refute.

Dollars to donuts they "found" Kerry's discharge papers, and they weren't honorable. I doubt the discharge papers they'll produce are real case since Nixon would have outed Kerry on this, but I'd bet the farm that they'll make the claim. These forgeries will be credible also.

62. Thanks! If you like pseudo-Seuss stuff, check out the poem I wrote:
W is for….

W is for Weenie, and Whiner, and Wimp
And for Whore, with PNAC as the pimp
W is for Worthless, and Weasel, and Weak
And for WMDs they so desperately seek
W is for aWol
He served in the Guard
Going to ‘Nam, it seems, was too hard
He prances in flight suits
He thinks he’s a hero
But as we’ve now learned,
He’s less than a zero.
He didn’t show up!
Not for days, not for weeks
And now, Karl Rove most urgently seeks
SOMEONE who saw Bush
He doesn’t care who
And if none can be found,
Bashing Kerry will do.
W is for Waffle.
Yes, Waffle. Or FLIPFLOP!
He’s done it a bunch.
Let’s start with this list.
When we’re done, we’ll have lunch.
(If there weren’t so many, we could call it brunch –
But this will take time. He’s done it so often,
I think that his brain is beginning to soften.)
No gay-marriage amendment -
OOPS! Now he’s for it.
No Draft - says the Prez -
Then he moves to restore it.
“Pro-Choice! No, Wait!
Pro-Life it must be,
If Christian-right voters
will then vote for me!”
“No nation-building with our military -”
He flip-flopped on that one so fast it was scary.
“I’m a War president,”
the little man said.
Now he wants to be known
as the Peace Prez instead.
“I’m not gonna change, see?”
He wants to be tough.
We’ve seen through his lies.
We’ve had more than enough.
W is for Wicked
Not the kind from out East,
Where “wicked” is slang for the best,
Not the least
No, wicked as: evil.
Just look at him sneer!
He’s awful. It really could not be more clear.
W is for Warmonger.
He’s glad we’re at war! He hit the Trifecta!
This whole situation couldn’t be more perfecta!
The rich getting richer, the poor getting killed
Our country’s no safer, and we’re getting billed.
That’s how they planned it!
The surplus is gone
The deficit’s grown even more than my lawn.
So, W must go now.
We really can't wait.
We cannot afford him.
So PARTICIPATE
In W's deflation,
demotion, demise.
We KNOW we can do it!
Because we are WISE.

"Let's not speculate anymore. The DU's are here already and trying desperately to find out what the story is. Let's keep quiet. Drudge is already working and investigating the story, I assure you of that. Powerline is keeping quiet, too, they don't want to fumble the ball. So let's stop the speculation because it will detract and distract from the story. Let the DU go crazy for the next 36 hours. Visit Drudge and Powerline at least twice daily, we may get more hints..."

86. Powerline is a blog
It is supposedly the DailyKos of the right, used by thousands of legitimate news outlets as an unimpeachable source.

Only problem is, these legitimate news outlets include the "Bird Cage Liner" of Drawsko Pomorskie, Poland; the "Daily Fishwrap" of Ulan Bator, Outer Mongolia, and the "Firestarter" (as in 'this is what to do with our paper because wiping your ass on it leaves black streaks between your legs") of Cut Trau, Vietnam.

Uh, no, uh, it was Kerry kidnapping Laura and the twins and dragging them away into white slavery!

Uh, no, uh, it was Kerry whose name is on the CIA report that the kind, generous White House is holding back, for his sake, to protect him from his own lies!

Uh, no, uh, it was half the DNC in an international drugs-for-hostages wheeler-dealer scheme!

Uh, no, uh, it was John Edwards, trying to plant an exploding cigar in limbaugh's mouth!

Uh, no, uh, it was Teresa Heinz Kerry, ordering all those squeezy plastic ketchup bottles to be made of plastic explosives!

These twits were all ablather back when the freeper and MAJOR Kerry-hater, NavyChief, was hinting that HIS little story was going to be the October Surprise! '

Okay.. so we've had like 30 October Surprises already... what next?

They say, it hits tomorrow on Drudge, and it's about his personal life. THen someone else says it's foreign policy. They're SO amusing. They haven't figured out that it's not about those things.. it's about the direction the country is headed, and how much Bush SUX!

26. Kerry has to tell the American People just how derelict Shrub was
prior to 911 and in the years after.

That Shrub was on a month long vacation after only being in office 6 months prior to 911. That Shrub ignored a mountain of intelligence data that predicted an imminent Al Quida attack on America. That Shrub sat like a scared little boy in a kindergarten room for minutes on end after being told that America was under attack. That Shrub whisked his Saudi Buddies out the of the country when all planes were grounded after 911 with little to no investigation by the FBI. That Shrub let Bin Laden escape and attacked a country that had nothing to do with 911.

It's amazing what the media has let this disgraceful, moronic, lying
Coward in Chief get away with since 911.

Most Americans are completely in the dark about this dispicable administration.

Mr. Kerry give that petulant little Drug Store Cowboy a massive dose of the truth all the way to election day.

40. Kerry ignored a briefing entitled "Osama determined to Strike Inside US"
And went on vacation for six weeks!

No? Well, I give up. I guess I'll have to wait until Monday.

Powerline is the site that broke the Killian memo typewriter "fraud" story.

Enough said.

46. One freeper guess
is that it is about Kerry undermining our war in Iraq with foreign leaders, saying he sold out the US to get foreign support for his election, blah blah.

50. I've followed some links...
.....to blogs where they apparently know what the story is. Here's what they say.

Cryptic Alert
Speaking of "lies," keep an eye on the front page of the Washington Times this coming Monday.UPDATE: It's something that the Kerry campaign will be forced to address regarding a previous criticism of Bush's foreign policy. That's all.UPDATE: Redstate is my source for the fact that the WaTimes is running with the story. More detail when the story breaks.

http://www.indcjournal.com/archives/001195.php

Stay tuned for Monday morning, folks. A story will break that the Kerry campaign will have to respond to. Call it another chapter in the story of John Kerry making stuff up. And while RedStaters didn't write a single word of it -- I'm proud to say that some folks involved in this site (and at least one other blogger) certainly pointed in the right direction. (More on that later.)

http://www.redstate.org/story/2004/10/23/83256/635

Comment from indcjournal:

Reading between the lines it seems this story has to do with something Kerry has been saying about the Bush campaign relating to foreign policy that turns out not to be true. It could be a Vietnam-era issue (Bush records that show he was where everyone knows he was or Kerry records showing he wasn't discharged properly, or actually authored the after-action reports), but it seems from what everyone is saying that it has to do with something Kerry has been saying about Bush.So what are Kerry's primary attacks/lies on Bush's foreign policy? That we go-it-alone (don't see how anything new could be unearthed there), that we moved resources from Afghanistan to Iraq and took our eye off the Usama ball (maybe there's something addressing this, but I hardly see how a devastating piece of new news can come out of it considering we already know Kerry supported the Tora Bora strategy at the time), and that we got diverted by Iraq (again, old news that Kerry has contradicted himself about 50 times on this issue).

They are whining cry babies to the point that it is sickening. They come off as a bunch of 13 year old bratty high school valley girls."

56. It's getting late in the game for a smear to work.
But the Bushies are getting desperate. In 2000, the DUI story actually hurt Gore as it was seen as a dirty trick regardless of it's legitimacy which few questioned.

This kind of "surprise" isn't likely to hurt Kerry, and may in fact hurt Bush.

61. Agreed, but watch out
because this administration is capable of ANYTHING.
It may be a November surprise - election day 'terrorist' attack? computer breakdowns/mass confusion Nov. 2?
The momentum is with Kerry. B* thinks he's god, global corporate politics in the balance and they are not going to give it up easily.

They will resort to violence, and plant 'proof'

65. My standard for goofy stories...
is that if both the National Enquirer and The Star have the same headline, there may be something to it. If oonly one does, no point paying attention.

The citation for this "exclusive" appears to be a simple blog site. If even Drudge can't be bothered to meniton it, I wouldn't get worked up.
