A little encouraging reminder, remember before the debate
Remember what everyone said before the first debate.

Remember what everyone wrote, what everyone said they expected.

Remember the talk of "what a good debater" Bush was.

Remember what a great match of equals it would be, and boy, if Bush could just "put him away" as most of the expected, then man, this thing was over....

Then remember what happened that night.

I saw it. You saw it. THEY even had to admit they saw it, finally. And how wrong they were.

We know it's all skewed, we knew it after they gave a pass on the run up to the war, hell THEY even know that now. But they still skew it, it's still the good ol SCLM. Not just Faux and Sinclair but all of them. No one got it right. It's as close to empirical (imperical, we should say perhaps) proof as it gets. They'll wake up later but they wake up slow, and right now they definitely don't get it.

The consensus was that the debate could be a tie for Kerry, at best. But look how wrong they got it.

Now, they're all calling this a tie. A little math, and things start looking brighter.

Encouraging, I'd say. Now - back to work!
