WAH!!!! I missed Scarborough last night!!!!!

It seems Lawrence O'Donnell really smacked down Swift Boat Liar O'Neill.

I missed the repeat (was 3 this morning).

Anyone got it on video, or know if that show will repeat over the weekend?

I was pretty stunned. I normally bypass Scarborough (he looks too much like that Tom Tomorrow guy for comfort), but Buchanan was hosting so I watched that segment. It was, well, loud and very confrontational. I didn't know Lawrence had it in him...or I hadn't seen it before, anyway!

which I found personally satisfying but I doubt he helped the cause very much. He wasn't armed/didn't convey enough of the specifics to counter the sleazy liar. Just shouting "liar" ain't enough.

Still, it was fun to watch. I think Buchanan is starting to get worried about how much his culture war is going to cost this nation. It is beginning to dawn on guys like him that people who have different views and value their freedom are not going to go quietly into that good night ...

i'm sure o'donnell like many of us just got disgusted and told it like it is. they aren't "honestly mistaken" they are lying on purpose and he called the disgusting fuck on it.

i'm not too worried about how it could be viewed since most people who watch those cable news shows like that are probably already decided types. they tend to be the partisans.

Buchanan set up a segment to talk about the mistakes the Kerrys are making and brought up the lesbian comment. O'Donnell started yammering about he didn't care HOW MANY lesbians there are in the world and HOW MUCH sex they had, because he doesn't consider lesbian sex wrong and doesn't think that talking about it is an insult or a slur. On and on! Pat had to shut him up on that, too.

we appreciate Lawrence O'Donnell. I used to work in TV and there's this site that has become pretty widely read within the cable news industry (TVNewser--http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/). This little twerp had three links or comments from freepers and NONE from any liberal sites.

My guess is that the freepers are in full meltdown over this and have probably been flooding MSNBC with negative feedback. I say we need to counter attack! Send to:
