Schwarzenegger endorses bond for stem cell research
http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/10/19/schwarzenegger.stem.ap/index.html

SAN FRANCISCO, California (AP) -- Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has endorsed a $3 billion bond measure that would fund human embryonic stem cell research, a move that bucks Republican leaders and threatens to further strain the state's budget.

"California has always been a pioneer," Schwarzenegger said Monday. "We daringly led the way for the high-tech industry and now voters can help ensure we lead the way for the biotech industry."

The endorsement of the stem cell research measure comes at some political risk for the governor, who campaigned against California going deeper into debt when he unseated Gray Davis as governor in last year's recall election.

2. The bond isn't a good idea
I'm all for stem-cell research, but the Prop is a bad piece of legislation.

4. Day Dreaming...
Ya know.... I realize the Bushies sanitize their crowds by running them through a freep-meter before they get the go ahead to attend rallies.. But every once in a while, one of our Kerry Commando's successfully slips past them. ;)

And we KNOW that they don't allow their cronies to ask questions, and in the rare instances that they do-- they're prepared questions written, distributed, and pre-answered by THEM.

Wouldn't you love it if someone could put Ahnuld on the spot and loudly ask him how he could support someone who....

..then quickly run through the list of things that they two are complete opposites. (Which basically is everything except the title of their party)

I know they'd both ignore the question, but just to throw them off and get the question out there..
