Lame Campaign Strategy
Edited on Sat Oct-23-04 03:07 PM by bmichaelh
What do you think of the latest Bush campaign strategy?

Vote for Bush because he is strong and Kerry is weak.
If America is seen as weak, then more terrorist attacks will happen.

Ridiculous.

For example, Prime Minister of Israel has appeared strong, even foolish. That has not stopped the terrorist attacks in Israel.

It is Bush, the neoconservative, and their fundamentalist allies' arrogant and crazy foreign policy that breeds terrorism.

I hope when Kerry is elected, he fires the whole lot of them.

1. That argument may be effective against an organized state with
conventional standing armies, but when these attacks come from random sources who are willing to die for their cause and are essentially inner-directed, it is a lousy slogan at best and completely idotic at worst.

2. I hope he PROSECUTES the whole lot of them for war crimes, crimes
against humanity, and treason.
Not only KKKarl Rove-r the Attack Dog, but Chimpy, Cheney the Dick, Condosleaza and the whole damn bunch should be frog-marched out of the White House in shackles, horsewhipped and then flung into saltwater twice a day, every day, then sentenced to a lifetime of HONEST labor at today's minimum wage.

3. :::shakes head sadly::: Another logical thinker wasting his time
This is all about appealing to people's fear. Logic, alas, has no part in anyone's decision making process - those capable of logical thought have already decided. Anyone who still hasn't decided is not going to be using their brain to figure it out.
