The real impediment to peace in the Middle East is not Arafat but Ariel Sharon and the reichwing Zionists who want to exterminate or expel the Palestinians from their homes so that the Zionists can re-create biblical Israel at it's zenith. Israel has never stopped illegal settlers from occupying Palestinian lands and that is a human rights violation on Israel's part.

Also, Israel kills 3 times more Palestinians, most of whom are civilians, than suicide bombers do Isrealis and 5 times more Palestinian children die at IDF hands than do Israeli children by suicide bombers. Israel is a terrorist nation just like South Africa was.
