That is what I keep coming back to.

When I first read a magazine excerpt of Cavid Brock's boo
"Blinded By the Right" about 3 years ago, the thing that leapt
out at me was him saying that the right-wing nuts he had worked
with were clear that they could not hold on to power in this country by
honest means, and had made the decision to do whatever it took.

Still chills me to the bone.

...and I've seen it close up. My fathers wife worked "campaigning for Nader" in 2000, collecting signatures and 'polling' left-leaning sentiment.

They figure that if their "marks" are stupid enough to fall for it, they deserve to have their interests overlooked. They resent any effort to get more people to participate in the process. Hell, they have an entire media empire geated toward making people LESS well-informed.

They must be defeated.
