Believe it or not I think Kerry Hunting Stunt helped Kerry with Manly Men.
I know a lot of us thought this was stupid including myself (I thought it was a huge mistake)but last night I was listening to a talk show and two man called in and said that after they saw Kerry in camouflage hunting they were interested enough in him to check out his voting record on Guns on the NRA website. One guy was upset about some vote on the NRA website and decided not to vote for him but he sounded like he was not totally turned off by Kerry however the other guy said he was switching to Kerry from Bush because he seemed like a guy who was like him and his record on Guns didn't look that bad. He also liked that Kerry was looking out for working class guys like him. I almost drove off the road! Notice that Iowa and Wisconsin are trending back to-wards Kerry now? I wonder if that strange stunt worked? I have also heard that Kerry is doing worse among Women but better among white Men than Gore and Clinton.

1. Actually, it was NOT a stunt. Kerry has hunted since he was a boy.
He's an expert marksman.

2. Stunt?
Lets see he has hunted for years, and I bet he used a gun when he was in Vietnam?

The Neocons even said so. In fact they said he shot a kid in the back,

Funny, if GW shot a kid in the back he would be called hero for killing a commie gook but Kerry is just a liar who betrayed his country.

3. One guy I know
asked about Kerry and guns. I told him Kerry was a hunter. The guy said, "All right! I won't vote for that idiot Bush, and it looks like I can vote Kerry!"

5. It was no stunt and no surprise.
Lot of Dems in my area take hunting very seriously. Hunting is still part of being a man to some. You need guns to hunt. That simple!!!
You may not agree with their reasoning. But I respect it and dont necessarily disagree.

6. Although I think Kerry is a hunter and does
so often I do think the timing of that hunting trip was a way to show other Americans a little about him. He wanted the voters to see that aspect of him. So it was planned. Just as it was planned to have cameras in there to see him hanging out watching the game. Frankly, if it works I say more power to him. :-)

7. It's only a stunt if it isn't true

And, as I understand it, Kerry has hunted most of his life. Personally, I wouldn't care to kill anything, but I DO eat meat. A hunter is at least willing to kill the meat that he (or she) will eat. Most of us pay others to kill and prepare our meat for us. So Kerry hunting is no stunt, no matter what the stupid mainstream media people say. A stunt is buying a "ranch" just before you run for president so you can invite the press there to watch you "clear brush." Don't call it a "ranch" unless you're raising cattle, or goats, or something productive. Clearing brush doesn't qualify. To me, THAT'S a stunt.

GO KERRY!

8. I agree. Using a shotgun properly trumps waving a chainsaw around...

9. Kerry would have the election in the bag if he hunted every
morning from here to the election.

12. i live with these men, i tell them i will be the first to stand up for
their right to own guns. just as i would stand up for a womans right to her body. i think it is arrogant of the left to want to dispose of all guns cause of violence and death, because of those that abuse. just as it is wrong for the right to outlaw abortion because of those women that use it for birth control.

yes it matters to a lot of men. just does. i dont have a passion for guns, hunting. i dont kill things. i dont like guns.

i dont like abortion. so i chose for me to not have abortion, but i dont have the right to dictate to another.

13. Sometimes it's hard not to be a full-blown misanthrope
In the famous words of Linus Van Pelt: "I love humanity. It's people I can't stand."

Yep, you're probably right.
