TV MSNBC's Scarblow Country: Kerry loosing Florida big?
Did anyone watch it? They said Kerry was loosing their big in new polls. Hell, today Kerry was winning in 3 out of 4 in Florida. Are new polls even out yet?

2. I watched some of it last night
And they said the same thing : Kerry losing Florida big. They had Frank Luntz (sp?) on talking about the domino effect of certain states...

15. Er, Luntz is a discredited Republican pollster.
Besides, the pollsters will all be discredited after this one. Their methodology isn't in sync with new communications paradigms.

21. Luntz is absoutely extreme partisan, to put it lightly
I did a research paper on him for a college class. Believe me, there is a method to his madness. He is not to be taken seriously.

14. A woman who worked for Scarborough was found dead in his office
in Florida--right about the same time as the whole Chandra Levy thing. Of course, it didn't get any attention because Scary Joe was a Repug. The Medical Examiner claimed she'd had an epileptic seizure (she had no history) and bumped her head on the desk as she passed out, thereby causing a skull fracture. Do a google search, there are a couple of good sites out there with info on the incident and cover-up.

Zogby has Bush up 2% in FL--48% to 46% with MOE 4.1%! Dead heat!
Do not be alarmed by the FL Los Angeles Times poll.

7. Loosing or losing?
You can loose an arrow, but you can't loose a state. Funny, though--you can lose both an arrow and a state.

31. JFK was assassinated. Are you referring to John Kerry?
If so, he used the initials JK. Why don't you?

32. I was afraid to say this-so thanks aquart!
OK, I freely admit I am HUGE devotee of JFK, and most everything rattles me, sometimes unneccesarily. But the constant referral to John Kerry as JFK is REALLY rattling me. He said himself he has never ever ever used his middle initial, and refers to himself as John Kerry, not John F. Kerry. In the commercial you dont hear "Im John F. Kerry and I approved this message".

Maybe everyone just wants a 'JFK type' back, from Mass, etc. But there is only ONE JFK, and John Kerry himself said he would never presume to assume that identity.

flame away..

18. Does it really matter how he spelled Losing? We all know what he/she ment
I am Dyslexic who can spell at the level of a ninth grader yet my IQ is in the superior range. What if we communicated through Art rather than words? Would your communications skills need to be corrected by those of us who are great artists? Just something to think about. We are all different and have different tallents.

29. Yeah, but if I had ten bucks for every time I saw someone use "loose"
instead of "lose", I'd be a REALLY wealthy man.

Shit, I'm hardly the gracious grammarian, but I've seen this mistake on high-level business documents, by people who really ought to know better. It looks bad and detracts from the point that is trying to be communicated. And that one particular error happens enough that it's become something of a personal pet peeve of mine.

It's not mean to correct someone on a glaring mistake like that; hell, we all make mistakes-- but maybe next time the person does it, it will be on a resume. As far as I'm concerned, you're doing them a favor.

12. just relax, we knew it would get this bad
Scarborough is cherry picking polls, he's trying to depress Dem turnout by proclaiming the race over already.

Don't let him do it, we have the momentum right now, they just graps to ridiculous outliers. The trend is in Kerry's favor!

13. Did you hear him?
Aside from the scattering of polls that they used he actually said that after our two towers were knocked down we "took over two countries" and laughed.
Am I the only one who heard this?
P.S. isn't he a...uh...murde..."person of interest" or at least should have been.
bastard.

19. I heard it
The "2 buildings" comment was a true stinker.

What polls were they talking about? I mean, Scaryinternkiller was basically saying Kerry should just concentrate on one or two states where he might win at this point, as if Kerry was gonna lose in a landslide.

Where the fuck are these people getting these ideas? Were there some reliable polls released today that nobody heard about but Pat Buchanan and HOward Finewhore?

26. Joe "Get this dead woman out of my office" Scarborough
has mysteriously been missing from his show after he made the remarks about the presidents performance in the first debate being embarrassing. I think the guys in black heliocopters paid him a visit and are holding him hostage til after the elections.

They keep citig these polls ad nauseum where * is winning. Never everdo they cite polls where JK is winning. They only quote Zogby when * is winning, if JK is ahead, it's met with deafening silence.
