Bush supporter charged with battery of girlfriend over Kerry vote
Steven Soper of Lake Worth was charged with aggravated battery, false imprisonment and resisting arrest without violence. He was being held at the Palm Beach County Jail without bond until a mental health assessment is completed.

Soper began pushing and shoving 18-year-old Stacey Silviera Tuesday night when she came to his house to return some of his personal items, deputies said.

"I kill you," he said, according to the arrest report. "You want (to) live to see the election?"

He held her with a screwdriver and a shard from a broken pot while a deputy tried to separate them, said Paul Miller, a spokesman for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

Meanwhile, in Vero Beach, an anti-Kerry demonstrator was charged with felony aggravated assault with a gun Monday after an Kerry supporter said he pointed the gun at his head

8. Once they realize how bad they have been lied too, Shurb won't be able to
stay in the country, he'll be lucky if he doesn't go to jail.

6. What is it with these people?
Edited on Wed Oct-27-04 10:29 PM by BattyDem
Why can't they handle a simple difference of opinion??? :eyes:

On edit: They steal K/E signs, they tear K/E bumper stickers off cars or they damage the cars, they refuse to let anyone speak unless they are in 100% agreement with the Freeper mindset, they threaten and/or get violent with anyone who doesn't agree with them ... seriously, what the f*ck is wrong with these people? How do you grow up in the United States of America and become so VIOLENTLY intolerant? We're not talking about a few nutjobs, there are millions of these people! :wtf:

11. I can't handle a difference of opinion either.

I was playing games online when somebody in chat asked everyone who they were voting for. Somebody said they were voting puke, so I said I was voting for Kerry. Another person chimed in saying that although they were in England, they supported the chimp. I typed, "You really liked those Abu Ghraib photos, huh England?" Another person said I was out of line and that everyone was entitled to their opinion. I typed, "Not when it comes to torture, sorry," and left the room.

12. Yes, but you didn't get violent or destructive ...
there's a difference. I get frustrated when I can't get through to GOP friends or relatives, but I don't harm them or their property. I do what you did ... I walk away. Why can't they do that? They take it so personally.

9. Might does not make right
These people just don't get it. The funny thing is, if this guy gets convicted of a felony, he won't be voting again any time soon.
