Poll question: If Bush wins... Scenario 2
Cynatnite said that he could vote in my other poll because it was based on the imaginary premise that Bush won legitimately. So here is another poll with a bit of a difference. The election returns are showing a narrow win in OH & FL. You, and many others are convinced that there was cheating involved, but there is no solid proof. (Hey, I am setting the scenario up. So humor me on the no proof aspect. I realize that in the real world there will be fingerprints. But for the sake of this poll - Rove covers his tracks very well. OK?)

So you & most progressive are convinced of cheating. The moderates aren't.

The poll has two major sections.
1. Wait - Meaning wait for the lawsuits to play out
2. No waiting - The lawsuits are a waste of time as the SCOTUS will pick Bush again.

2. I voted, but I am actually moving to another country anyway...
for 3 years. (Unrelated, just potentially serendipitous...) However, I will DEFINITELY be working on ways to make it more than that if Furious George wins again, especially if it is legitimate.

3. I'm a she :)
I'd have to wait for the lawsuits and see how it plays out. The only way I see fratboy winning is with another screw job like in 2000, so I'd pack up the mini-van and kids to protest. I'd have to go to D.C. The only place to protest.

I've never been to a protest in my life and I have had one speeding ticket. When it comes to our country, I won't hesitate to protest.

5. While waiting.
We need to reformulate our attack if we lose the next four years.

In particular, we need investment funds that keep money out of the hands of the right. We need the stocks like sinclair corp to tank. Who wants their money supporting crap like that, anyway? We could make a huge change in this nation if we motivated everyone to find and invest in 'progressive' funds that are left-leaning.

Then, we need to stop shopping at businesses that are part of the right. We need to stop watching their TV shows, movies, and advertisements. We need to spend on our money with companies that look out for our well-being.

Over four years, if we apply all of the angry energy we have into just realligning the money of democrats in general (using conversation to persuade our friends and requests to sway our money managers), we could begin to starve the side of hate and fear.

6. We need many more of these threads on If Bush Wins...
There must be many more other scenarios that you
can think of of how Bush Could Win and what we ought
of to do if it etc. happen. Don't let me down.

8. This time it's different
in 2000, I thought Americans for the most part were passive, and probably stunned. But if the following 4 years didn't stun anyone out of their pants, think how much worse it could be if * stays in office.

Perhaps
-- an imminent draft
-- a lunar eclipse
-- a Red Sox WS win after 86 years

makes it prime time we 86'd W!!!!
