"I have no doubt whatever, based on the four vacancies on the Texas Supreme Court that President Bush filled while governor of Texas, as well as his appointment of federal judges since 2000, that he will appoint right-wing justices with extremist agendas."

President Bush’s appointments to the Supreme Court would be among the longest legacies of his administration. A restructured court will be given many opportunities to roll back civil rights, workers rights, environmental protections, gay and lesbian rights, state-church separation, and a woman’s right to choose.

So much damage has already occurred to our country, our allies and our credibility in the world community since 2000 because of this divisive president.

1. This is the real legacy of Reagan

Well, besides the deficit and prolonging the Soviet Union - all those extremists he put on the federal benches during the 80s. I'm guessing that with Nixon/Ford for 8 years, then Reagan/Bush 1 for 12 and now Bush 2 for 4 that a majority of our federal judges are now Republican, many of the extreme Right variety.
