Police: Bush Supporter Imprisons Kerry-Supporting Girlfriend

POSTED: 8:50 am EDT October 28, 2004

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- An 18-year-old supporter of President George W. Bush became so angry that his girlfriend was considering voting for John Kerry and was breaking up with him that he imprisoned her in his home, deputies said.

Steven Soper of Lake Worth was charged with aggravated battery, false imprisonment and resisting arrest without violence. He was being held at the Palm Beach County Jail without bond until a mental health assessment is completed.

Soper began pushing and shoving 18-year-old Stacey Silviera Tuesday night when she came to his house to return some of his personal items, deputies said.

"I kill you," he said, according to the arrest report. "You want (to) live to see the election?"

1. "I kill you," he said,
knuckles dragging.

Wow, he must really be in love! Isn't that sweet?

3. Maybe Shrub can get the boyfriend
to join Zell on the campaign trail. He could really help them get the maniac vote locked up.

4. It gets WORSE!
This story is kind of a front page headlines allegory for what's happening across our Nation with all the sign thievery, people getting fired from their jobs for speaking out, getting tossed out of bush rallies, voter registrations being torn up, absentee ballots missing..voter intimidation at the polls, ad infinitum!

5. The day OJ was acquitted, saw 4 carloads of hostile young males
driving around shouting vile obscenities and threats at every female they saw. In the parking lot at work, heard this catchy little chant:
"You bitches better look out. Killing you all is legal now."

We are in trouble here in America. We are in serious trouble when part of society really believes in winning at any cost and then doing what they damn well please. They call themselves 'law & order party' and try to dub liberals as anarchists. Sorta works the other way in real life though.
