Man, I though California was bad. Oklahomans are SCREWED!
This is from "Weird News" by Chuck Shepherd of the Universal Press Syndicate:

"IT'S ALL IN HER HEAD

The race for U.S. Senate in Oklahoma (to succeed the retiring Don Nickles) was described in the media in September as so close that independent, former Green Party candidate Sheila Bilyeu might take enough votes away from one or another leading candidate as to influence the outcome. Bilyeu has gained notoriety in the past two decades by filing numerous lawsuits against the federal government (all eventually dismissed) demanding the removal of a radiolike device the military allegedly planted in her head in the 1970s. The device, she said, mostly sends her messages that are highly critical of her. She added in a later lawsuit that President Clinton had ordered her gassed and had stolen her dog."

OMFG!! THIS is the whackjob that could tip the balance in the OK senate race this year?!?!?

Ya know who's REALLY talking to her thru that implant, dontcha???

Ralph Nader.

Gotta be. Search your feelings. You KNOW it to be true.

1. She polls at higher number than Nader can dream of
I heard a poll earlier that had her in double digits, and the most recent poll I heard had her at 6.8%. The reason is that most Oklahomans of all political stripes are just sick and damn tired of the Carson/coburn campaign, which has been incredibly ugly from both sides.

6. Yeah, because...
virtually everyone in the state is utterly disgusted by the other candidates in the race.

2. The conspiracy theory and Clinton bashing may pull more votes from the R!

5. Yes, Carson can win, barely probably...Kerry can't though. There are a
lot of weird people here...many Repugs will vote for a Dem for congress or local/state offices but for some perverse reason not for President. It just makes me want to :puke:
