Schilling Will Appear in NH
with President Bush to endorse him in the Key swing state in Red Sox Nation.

He just did an interview on our local NBC affiliate on Channel 7.

Maybe some of you DU apologists for Schilling would like to meet up with him and cheer him on.

I for one, will hate him for the rest of my life.

By the way, I'll be in NH working for Kerry, trying to buck the tide that now will be against us with this huge Red Sox win and Schilling lending that aura to President Bush.

It might not be a big deal in Ohio and Florida, but believe me, it carries some weight in New Hampshire.

3. He'll be hard to see...
he's that transparent.

Like I said on that other thread..."Schilling has his tongue so far up the ass of all that is wrong in this country, is it any wonder his former teammates can't stand him?".

who cares
if there are yahoos who are dumb enough to vote for someone just because a brianiac like a major league pitcher says so, chances are they're not able to find their way to the polling stations anyway....

4. Schilling belongs in the same flush-file as Schwarzenegger...
These guys are using their celebrity as a lever for the right wing.

They have broad appeal, and it is easy to soften when they are so charming and/or skilled at their craft.

Nevertheless, these guys are backing the very forces that are taking this country down a long, dark path of hate, ignorance, and blind hubris.

12. I'll see your Schilling and raise you a Theo Epstein
the blue-chip (in more ways than one!) GM who brought Schilling to the Sox in the first place. Get a load of this!

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/fallclassic/columns/story?id=1907279

"This is such an emotional lift for people in New England and all over the world," Boston general manager Theo Epstein said "I hope they enjoy it. I hope they do something good with it. I hope they go vote Tuesday and make the world a better place."

P.S. Of course Schilling's a repuke. He has access to the finest health care available, even if the rest of us do not...

28. My email to Schilling
Dear Curt Schilling,

I heard you will campaign for Bush in NH. Now. I'm suddenly not so happy the Sox won and plan to root against you from here on.

Why do you like Bush so much? Is it his tax cuts for super wealthy Americans like you? He's not stronger on defense than Kerry - his Iraq war that he lied his way into cost us international goodwill and has resulted in daily terrorism against Americans in the Middle East. There are far more terrorists who hate the US now than before Sept. 11.

You and the media should know that Sen. John Kerry has received support from many current and retired athletes himself, including NBA player Grant Hill, tennis players Andre Agassi and John McEnroe, former NFL players Franco Harris and Alex Karras, and former wrestler Jesse Ventura.

For more details on that, go to http://ww.opednews.com/thoreau_102604_athletes.htm

It's disappointing that you chose the wrong candidate at the wrong time.

25. Screw Curt Schilling
Two nights ago, I wore a Curt Schilling jersey while watching the Red Sox game. I'll never wear it again and I'll never forgive him for turning what should be the greatest sports moment of my life, something I have been dreaming and waiting for since I was a kid into a cheap political statement. He should be ashamed.

Schilling is a media hounddog - he loves the spotlight. And while he did great in the ALCS, I'm sure the Sox would have won the World Series without him in game 2.
