5. local NBC affiliate
just finished their story - didn't have one shot that showed the whole crowd. They only had close-ups of people, and even a nice lingering shot of a man-hole cover! :eyes:

If I hadn't been there, I would have thought we had turnout of a few hundred! x(

10. But the thing is
we didn't even know that Bruce was going to be here until a couple of days ago (mid morning the other day as we were phone-banking). I don't think the crowd would have been any smaller, had he not been coming. This crowd was for Kerry, and for change!!!:bounce:

12. The local Repubs were up in arms
because the Clerk of Courts was going to stay open until 8 pm tonight for anyone who wanted to vote after the rally. Apparently there was going to be a march from the rally to the Clerk's office. How the hell are they going to accomodate all those people?!
