US Senate Candidate's 'Manhood' Questioned
Edited on Thu Oct-28-04 05:19 PM by freetobegay
(Frankfort, Kentucky) Two top Kentucky Republicans are implying Democratic Party Senate Candidate Dan Mongiardo is gay.

State Senate President David Williams (R-Burkesville) in two speeches Wednesday called Mongiardo "limp-wristed" and state Sen. Elizabeth Tori (R-Radcliff) in another speech said she wonders if "the word 'man' applies to him".

The remarks were made while Williams and Tori campaigned for Sen. Jim Bunning. Bunning is in a tough race for reelection. Polls show him neck and neck with Mongiardo.

When questioned later by reporters both Williams and Tori denied they were trying to out Mongiardo. "'Limp-wristed' denotes weakness. It's not a sexual slur," Williams told the Herald Leader.

So, let's play the "gay card" on his opponent.

Despicable.
