Who has noticed that the media is slipping away from Bush?
Maybe they know they are screwed? CNN was the only one that stuck to KR talking points. The rest are hitting Bush hard these final days.

1. I think it's a little thinly-veiled payback.
I've noticed a subtle swing in many of the news orgs over the past few months. I think some are tired of being fed the same ol' song and dance by the administration and are actually doing something about it for once.

That's bad news for Bush, if it's true, because the news orgs will hammer these stories all weekend long.

2. That came up on Tweety last night.

It was suggested that many in the media feel that bush lied to them, and that they didn't question the war enough.

Yes, payback is a bitch.

They're all whores, but we might be able to squeeze a little truth out of them for a few days.

3. Too many Bush lies, they cant cover for him when

when the Bush lies start coming out like a river of water, its hard for the media whores to cover for him.

They still try, but there are just too many lies to keep it back.

4. Media is a Bush tool...
Every time I see one of these threads, the media manages to reach a new low as Bush lie enabler.

6. I just love all this hand-wringing
And all the mea culpas coming from the mainstream so-called media types now that the true patriots have started coming forward to expose the man behind the curtain. DUers have been calling and e-mailing news outlets since 2001 trying to raise their red flags and only now are these whores admitting they were wrong. Well pardon me if I'm not impressed.

They enabled the piss-poor excuse for an administration and we're supposed to absolve them? They haven't put a nick in making amends as far as I'm concerned.
