Are the Republicans stealing the U.S. Mail?
The Collier County Florida Democratic Club recently sent 10,000 time sensitive post-cards with first class postage. They were addressed to people in Collier County Florida. Most of them were never received and the ones that did make it came late despite being mailed a full week in advance. Maybe this doesn't sound like someone was sabotaging the mail but consider the fact that this was the second time it happened. Of course the local Post Office officials answer was ????????. Does anyone doubt the Repubs will stop at nothing to win this election?

3. probably
a conservative carrier. When I did direct mail for NARAL some post offices were slower to deliver our stuff. It was usually caused by one bad carrier.

5. Most likely, it was the logical step
Much simpler and more effective to pay off a carrier or elections official here or there than to purge voter rolls or challenge voters one by one at precincts.

I've seen this in Las Vegas repeatedly; always stay one scam ahead. While they're focused on what you did last time, the new method is even more diabolical and significant.

I'm originally from Florida and have read online papers extensively regarding the missing absentee ballots. Many articles matter of factly mentioned the absentee ballots were taken by an elections department worker to the post office. Whose to say someone couldn't have isolated who that employee(s) would be and manage some influence? Or that the person knew it would be him and offered his services to the proper GOP goon.

7. Let's just say that they'll do anything - **anything** - to stay in power.
Tampering witht the U.S. Mail would be the least of it.

8. This is partially why I'm more concerned about Oregon than others are
100% mail voting. If that isn't potential for lost or hijacked votes I don't know what is. Normally I'm not cynical but I guess it's based on experience. Plenty of USPS problems in my recent past.

10. I get less than half of my copies of the Nation,
over five years and one move. Somebody at the Post Office is liberating them.
Grrrrrr.
