Would new polls show movement due to Al Qaqa story?

I don't know how this story can get so much coverage and still show no movement in the polls whatsoever.

I mean, it should at least create a discernable 2 point shift to Kerry if people weren't hypocritical bastards.

Maybe there is a lag between when the story drops and when we start to see residual movement. Who knows?

four days at least for news to sink in and to be digested.

4. People must realize the danger this

unprepared president put our troops and our country in......We are creating more people who hate us through and through.... the hearts and minds thing is not exactly working with new reports that we have killed close to 100,000 Iraqis (not 30,000), mostly innocent people..... This President is a miserable failure and we are not safer under his mishandling of his job......Lets get rid of DOPEY and MEANIE..... and replace them with the REAL DEAL.....

5. My Theory: The full impact of a story usually takes about a week...

At first there is a dramatic shift in opinion, then new information comes out and the polls move in one way or another. Finally people weigh the importance of the story, and if it really should impact the election. In other words, we will know if this was the nail in the coffin for Chimp after the election, although there are plenty of bad stories about chimp right now. :)
