The only negatives on Kerry have been...

(according to Bush and supporters)
- Kerry's voting record, which was total BS considering all they had were generalizations.
- Kerry and THK's unfortunate remarks, which are nothing compared to Bush claiming he didn't care about Bin Laden before he said that he does.
- The Swift Boat lies, which is really nothing more than a bunch of jealous, pissed off Vietnam Vets who will say anything to discredit John Kerry the war hero.

My point is that there are really not many negative stories about Kerry. This is surprising considering his anti-war stance and many years in Congress.

I think and hope that Rove has nothing. Of course, we know that they will say and do anything to win this thing(flip flopper, rich guy, pre-911 mentality).

We'll see. It has been fun lately though.

2. This isn't surprising at all.
The GOP tried to find something on Kerry for years...all the way back to the Nixon administration...and were never able to find anything.

4. Maybe because Kerry is a GOOD MAN.
My theory on this from Day 1 was the following:

Considering how JK married Teresa a few years after her husband was killed, leaving her with a huge inheritance, I think it would be extremely easy for Teresa's sons to be extremely wary and suspicious of him. It would be a natural reaction, I'd think, for them to see Kerry as marrying their mom for her money. But they don't. One son, admittedly, is a recluse, but he hasn't said anything aginst Kerry, he just seems like a natural loner from the political world. The other two, however, actively campaign for Kerry. They're friends. I think it's a testament to Kerry's true character.

5. I think you are right.
I think that John Kerry is a rather boring guy who has lived a rather boring political life. I'm sure this pisses off Rove to no end.

7. If there had been significant personal scandal with JK, he would have been
smeared with this LONG before T-7 days.

As it is Roveco had to make do with the fake swiftie smear, which, sadly had significant impact due to the media coverage.

11. Rove would do *anything* to hang on to power
but he's not a magician, he can't make something happen that's not there. He's just run out of gas, gave it his best shot and it wasn't good enough.
