The Sad Post Election Right-wing Meme: Country divided and polarized
I think this is bullshit - I think it will be a landslide for Kerry, that the vast majority are sick to death of Bush and Cheney and their bullshit, and that we will be more united than ever.

Of Course the freepers and antichoice religionists will be oppositional (and the freepers may be slightly dangerous)

and the military industrial complex and their spooks will continue to disrupt, discredit, disturb and be deviant and treasonous in preparation for 2008.

But I think the "polarized" Bushies will be in the vast majority.

Even the die hard Busheviks and Bushzis and their corporate sponsors know Bush is a tired ass loser and weight on the nation aand the globe.

I think we will be fine in a few weeks. But we must be on our guard.

What do Y'all think? Will Life be hell or will it be like a new dawn with a new beautiful horizon?

1. Tell ya what
if half the country really DOES like Bush-Cheney, then it really IS time to move.

Me, I don't believe it. Or maybe it's the circle I move in. Hardly ever meet or talk to a Bush supporter.

That's why I think the polls are crap too. And why Zogby can safely predict a Kerry win--on national TV.

5. Let Me Tell You!
"Hardly ever meet or talk to a Bush supporter."

Well, you are very lucky, sister! Me? I am surrounded by rednecks in a red state. Run into them everywhere! I don't know whether to feel sorry for them because they are duped by bush or get mad at them for allowing him to.

11. Even most of the people I know who ARE voting Bush are not happy
about it.

They just can't stand Kerry worse.

2. What do you think their reaction would be to an attack?
Would they rally behind their President? Heck, we were polarized after 2000, and Bush "lacked a mandate", didn't stop them from being stupid and thinking they could force an extremist agenda down our throats. I say we bomb their suburbs and rural outposts with gas that turns their kids gay, then march in and take their bibles and guns.

6. Fun to think about.
"I say we bomb their suburbs and rural outposts with gas that turns their kids gay, then march in and take their bibles and guns."

LOL :)

4. Honestly
I doubt that many people "out there" know of all the scandals, incompetence, and corruption of the Bush Administration. They just have a feeling that things aren't right overall and an acquaintance with one or two facts to substantiate that observation. They can't pont to *anything* and say, "Well at least this is going right." It is this general malaise that will sink Bush in the end.

7. TIME cover
ready to reignite those unpleasant fires when people were not quiet and happy under RW despotism.

tea-sipping panty waist conservative hugging news media decries the excited state of politics, complaining, negative waves and fact checking.

Why can't people surrender peacefully? lament the tax cut gorged editors of Corporate Pravda's biggest conglomerate showcase.

Oh well, time to suffer the GOP noise machine to tell us to bash Kerry for four years. So much for the new pastel puce tone of simpler bloodier, more fearful and declining days of patriotic glory.

Well, the media sagely touted this as the business world version of the Presidency, now they can wallow in the mess they made and stay the F away from the real deal.

8. A new dawn, indeed
One of the funniest things I've seen in this election is the crawler on CNN that said "Americans split over whether Bush is a uniter or a divider."

9. And what the fuck do they thing it's been for the last four years?
Edited on Thu Oct-28-04 11:56 PM by realcountrymusic
Funny how when they might lose "divided" is a bad thing. They took my country away four years ago, and I want it back. I hope it's divided and good for a while.

God I want to kick some freeper ass. I wish I lived in a freeper state just so I could. Here in NYC there's none to be found. But I'd love to see a freeper walk the streets of Harlem, some day.

If Kerry wins -- WHEN Kerry wins -- I'm heading to washington for inauguration day, and if there are any freeper mofos there protesting I'm going in after them with a posse. Who's with me?

BRING EM ON! Divided we stand. They asked for it. Now let them live with it.

10. Really
becoming LIKE a Rethug is not, however, the best goal.

14. No, putting them in internment camps is

the best goal. I've taken the Michelle Malkin view here. Let's lock up these traitors and thugs, no due process, and let 'em stew in their own juices. They call for us to be interned, shot, etc. They call us traitors and unpatriotic. They are willing to abuse power. The only response to a bully is to bully him right back. I've just had it with "rising above." We are all of us in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.

Key a repthuglican car today. I will.

12. I can hear the whining now
and it will all be about how Kerry was elected only because people voted AGAINST Bush, and not because they voted FOR Kerry.
