The tape would be a real letdown for someone who'd thought Rove had him on ice somewhere, ready to pull him out to save the Chimp.

An OBL tape means Osama is out there on the loose god knows where.

Kind of like tons of military grade explosives are out there loose god knows where after the administration failed to properly secure them.

Now everyone go connect the dots for the media and ask them what happens if it turns out the latter is in the control of the former.

Just like an Al Capone radio broadcast would have been different from Eliot Ness's G-men gunning him down!

(In an odd bit of irony, I just checked my Ness facts and found that 50 years ago Eliot Ness was chairman of the Diebold Corp.!! Who's controlling my brain? What's that box on my back??)
