5. I doubt Osama cares all that much who's president.

He took advantage of the election to taunt Bush, but he is mainly motivated by US support for Israel and our military presence in Saudi Arabia during Gulf War I. He doesn't hate our freedom; he hates our foreign policy. I'd guess he's just using the timing to get attention and motivate his people. The outcome of our election is probablyh secondary (though Bush has been an excellent recruiting tool for him). To say that Osama particularly wants either Bush or Kerry to win is silly -- he will consider the US to be the enemy, regardless.

Those who think Shrub is better on security will vote for him. Those who look and hear the tape know he isn't. They (we) know that the fact Osama is still around is proof Shrub can't keep us safe. I feel Osama is a poster-child for voting for Kerry. There are just too many dots to connect this late in the game.
