Was Joe Trippi scheduled to appear on "This Week?"
Or is there to comment on the Clark piece that is running right now.

5. Trippi sure did put his foot in it
He said Clark wasn't offered the VP slot, " in the meeting I was in"
I have one big question. It has been THREE FREEKING months for him to come out and claim this. It's been all over the news and the blogosphere. Now three months later it is not true?
I don't believe him.

9. I hope someone makes a BIG DEAL out of this. . .
. . .then Dean and Trippi will either admit that they offered Clark the VP slot or they will have to call him a liar.

21. Me too
Because then all of America will see the Clark campaign making a big deal out of whether or not he was offered a VP slot to Dean. That will make them look REAL good.

12. What did Clark Know and when did he Know it?
I couldn't resist that one. I thought the VP story was common knowledge. I certainly don't know what really happened.

Trippi said he wasn't offered the VP..in the meeting I was in. SO, yes he is sort of calling Clark a liar. But we know the truth about who is a liar...because we know very well that it is true and so does Trippi.

17. Pretty Interesting

I was surprised that Trippi didn't have a better answer for George. George even said - who is the establishment - is it Hillary, is it Bill - who is it.

In the end Trippi said it was Kerry, Gephardt, Edwards, Leiberman - those who voted for the IWR.

I think Trippi and Dean don't want to say who they think the establishment is - because they need ALL of the democratic party to win and don't want to alienate people by singling them out.

Trippi's comments about health care - that democrats have had this on our platform for 30 years, but Americans still don't have health care - why? Not because we weren't in power, in presidency, in congress - because there are 10 health care lobbyists for every member of congress. Interesting.

10. Trippi
Trippi is, to say the least, not an effective representative of the Dean campaign.

14. Trippi
Genius?

He looks and sounds slimy.

One minute he's talking about changing the entire political system, and the next minute he's sounding exactly like Dick Cheney trying to explain why Dean won't release his Vermont records for the sake of "future Governors."
