Bush didn't get a mandate---barely half of the votes isn't a landslide
Bush got only 51% of the votes. 3 years ago he had a 90% approval rating. 1 1/2 years ago he had a 65% approval rating.

55 million voters voted against him. The only reason he won is because they scared the fundies with the horrors of gay marriage, which brought out 4 million extra fundies.

51% means that 49% voted against him. Hardly like Johnson/Goldwater or Nixon/McGovern or even Clinton/Dole

2. He sure is no FDR or even....Nixon
Nixon won a landslide in 1972 (and that was Nixon), and no Republican could touch FDR, even when he was literally dying.

3. That is what has been pissing me off.
An incumbent war president who had the worst tragedy in the past 50 years happen in his first term and all he could get was 51%. That is hardly the ass kicking that the press would lead you to believe.

The thing that pisses me off the most is in his press conference when he said that he now has political capital and he is going to spend it. I just wanted to yell "You didn't get elected because people like your ideas! You got elected because because the fucking fundies hate gays!"

4. DO YELL THAT!!!
That is EXACTLY what we all should be doing and THAT WOULD BE HEARD if we did so.

And THAT would ensure bush's "approval" rating takes a sudden dive and FAST.

And THAT takes away his pretend "political capital".

And THAT would take away his power and take away the media's fear of his power.

SO SHOUT IT OUT & KEEP SHOUTING IT OUT!!! :)

MOCK THE FUCK out this asshole little dick that calls a 2% margin "political capital".

As in Laura must think /-------/ is 10 inches if she believes 2% is a huge whopping mandate.

;)

C'mon guys! 2% IS NOTHING!!! WHY are we letting these total DICKS spin this shit like it's the Holy fucking GRAIL????!!!

When you POINT OUT the FACT that the emperor's 2% points are NAKED NOTHINGS, Americans WILL SEE that in fact the emperor's 2% points are NAKED NOTHINGS and the damn "liberal media" will look foolish & all we see how foolish they look and that will shut down bush's "power" and "political capital" and his "approval ratings" fast.
