Consider ending the GD:2004 primary rules
since it is clear that DU has zero effect on national politics.
There is no reason to control speech now that we know it doesn't matter.

You should make your request in the Ask the Admins forum.

But I don't think we need to read any further than rule #1, which is: "The moderators have the authority to remove any post of any kind, which they consider to be contrary to our goal of civil discourse."

Our goal of civil discourse - not speech control.

Feb 10th Va. and Tenn at the earliest probably into March 9th southern states primaries.

5. Oh, for heaven's sake! Before this gets locked.
Isn't there anyone here who can look at the emotional tone of Imhotep's post. Maybe s/he is just feeling temporarily down.

I woke up this morning wondering how many Republicans switched their registration and skewed the results in Iowa. Not to be too cynical.

I think we're all going to be on the raw edge for the next few months.
