Time to start targeting the trouble makers...
...in the Radical Christian Right.
Not the average Christian, mind you. James Dobson and his Focus on the Family CULT are power mad psychos that have to be put in their place.

1. You know what?
We need to get nasty. Those right-wing bastards target Dems all the time and we don't do anything about it. They need a taste of their own nasty medicine.

4. That's what I'm talking about.
I have every intention of fighting fire with fire from now on.
It's probably not so nice, but you can't fight nasty with nice.
You have to fight nasty with a ball bat!!!

3. dobson
He has no power, he has the same amount of power he has had in the last few elections and he has had almost no real influence

6. what about that wack job in Kansas, Fred Phelps
He acually priased God for the Tsunami because of all the "fags" it killed.

He's only a half step away from Roberston and Falwell

14. To quote KoKo
As someday it may happen that a victim must be found
I've got a little list, I've got a little list
Of society offenders who might well be underground
And who never would be missed, they never would be missed...

Yes--it is time to create this list of those who need to be taken to task and exposed for their hypocrisy and bigotry. Let them be stricken from the public airwaves and sent to political and social exile.

BTW-- KoKo's song from The Mikado was in his capacity as Lord High Executioner--I would never back such draconian measures--I much prefer social and political "death"-- in other words-- to have these types ridiculed and ostracized.

:)

15. Be cautious if you do take steps against Phelps.
He has a history of making anyone who crosses him miserable, and his family full of lawyers has been able to defend his harassment practices in court. So don't let him find out your full name, or license plate number.

The consensus here in Kansas seems to be "ignore him." He gets more attention from the national media than the local media these days.

9. This is how
COLORADO SPRINGS - James C. Dobson, the nation's most influential evangelical leader, is threatening to put six potentially vulnerable Democratic senators "in the 'bull's-eye'" if they block conservative appointments to the Supreme Court.

In a letter his aides say is being sent to more than one million of his supporters, Dr. Dobson, the child psychologist and founder of the evangelical organization Focus on the Family, promises "a battle of enormous proportions from sea to shining sea" if President Bush fails to appoint "strict constructionist" jurists or if Democrats filibuster to block conservative nominees.

12. Absolutely. These are sick people and they are likely to have
MAJOR skeletons in their closet. The trick is that "born agains", once they have proclaimed their "faith", can lie, steal, cheat and murder with impudence because they are "saved". Bush is allowed to be an outright psychopathic murderer, and it matters not because he tells these very foolish people that he has been "saved"

13. I'm sure we've all seen Dobson's remarks (threats?) about
targeting Democrats. Unfortunately, we can't afford to ignore his kind anymore.

16. If we'd dedicate some of our time
attacking the extreme religious right (who are politically hyperactive) and the comparable media instead of pursuing off-the-wall media blog hypotheses and tin-foil angles on everthing imaginable .... we would do better in thwarting their "message". A re-apportionment of our efforts is imo better than a new battlefront.
We spend too much time on wild-eyed hypotheses. Everybody on our side has been suicided in small planes, it seems.
...O...

17. I agree that we need to cast more light on the Dominionists,
Christian Reconstructionists, whatever they're called. But why must we just shut up about other issues? Yes, some of the "conspiracies" are nutty. But an opinion (for example) that the Tsunami was caused by a secret government project is better answered with an explanation of plate tectonics than shouts of "shut up!" Are you proposing a governing council that screens all opinions so DU is not sullied by oddball ones? Remember, some of those "conspiracies" are not so nutty.

I've posted this link several times & have been told that I was crazy to do so. www.yuricareport.com/Dominionism/TheDespoilingOfAmerica.htm
