"Are you ready for Meetup?
A few days ago, Gov. Dean wrote on Blog for America about the community that we're building across our country. Neighbor by neighbor, we're building a community based on mutual respect and fairness. Our America will be a community where everyone is equal and all Americans who work hard have a basic standard of living which includes adequate health care. This community will be based on the values of strength, equal opportunity for all, and respect for others. Meetups are one vital step toward building a community that reflects our values.

We're going to use Professor George Lakoff's new DVD called "How Democrats and Progressives Can Win" to guide the discussion in January. Many other groups are joining us, including members of Progressive Democrats of America and SEIU's MyMoralValues.com Project. Please welcome these new members to your group. After the Meetup, you can direct your group to http://www.democracyforamerica.com/framing to learn more about framing."
