My thoughts on Fox today...

Fox:

If these guys were in the business of selling burgular alarms, they'd throw a brick through your window a week before approaching you with the sales call. Scare the shit out of people, and then sell them security.

Endless war is the burgular alarm they're tyring to sell, and the false morality and endless harping on terrorism is the brick coming through your window.

6. I didn't watch today, either.

It's hard for me to stomach those people for more than five minutes at a time, anyway.

I was driving home, listening to some tunes, thinking about what they do; I mean, I was asking myself questions like:

Fox: What's their motive? What do they stand to gain? What repeating patterns can you see in how they behave? Why are 4 out of every 5 stories on that network somehow related to terror, when the number of Americans who have died in terrorist attacks in America since 9/11 is zero? Whom do they serve?

I started coming up with answers like, 'Theirs is a profit motive' and 'They stand to gain a mutual backscratching relationship with a Government they've just purchased, oh, and much more dough.'

I thought, 'If they're just trying to scare us for political and economic gain, then doesn't that just make Fox a bunch of terrorists? Isn't that the definition of 'terrorism'? Using fear for gain?

Anyway, it occured to me that they're nothing more than bullies, and behave in the same way thugs have behaved since the dawn of man.

I think they must be confronted as such.

It's just not worth getting exasperated every minute you watch it.
