Why the Joe Buck/Randy Moss 'controversy' is not trivial....
Kind of a repost from last night, but thought it could use a wider audience:

Without fake controversy, you can't have feigned indignity.

Without feigned indignity, you can't have moral outrage.

Without moral outrage, you can't call for censorship.

If you can't call for censorship, you can't control the Media message.

If you can't control the Media message, you can't hoodwink the country in to an unrequired war.

Fox Broadcasters: if these guys were in the business of selling burgular alarms, they'd throw a brick through your window a week before approaching you with the sales call.

Perpetual War is the burgular alarm they're tyring to sell, and the fake morality and constant demagoguery about terrorism is a brick sailing through your window.

Scare the poop out of 'em, and then sell them security; it's as old as the hills...I'm amazed more people don't get it yet.

2. From Randy Moss & Joe Buck...
to perpetual war. Wow. Your line of reasoning here is pretty damn good.

There's no connection between our martial, nationalistic gladiator sport, the righteous moral indignation of the GOP, and the march to war.

None at all.

3. The entire Fox network is built upon people showing their asses
It's the network that produced The Swan for God's sake. And Fox makes a hell of a lot more money off its trashy reality shows than off its cable news. The last thing Rupert Murdoch wants is censorship.

4. Isn't Murdoch's entire empire built
upon topless girls on page 3 of his London newspaper???

5. Yep
Even professional censors like Brent Bozell aren't sure what to do with Rupert. They love FoxNews but hate Fox.

6. Most SANCTIMONIOUS moment in TV history... the feigning of "outrage..."
by Joe Buck.

Suck it... Buck. Get outraged by that, you prick!

8. Agreed. Buck's reaction was more "disgusting"
than Randy's action.
