Let's help Bush come up with an excuse post-election in Iraq?
What do you think he will say to describe the environment after the election. No doubt they will attempt to minimize the expectation between now and the end of the month? What do you think they will say?

"We never expected the elections to change anything overnight..."

"It's going to be a long and difficult process for the Iraqi people."

"There are a few people that do not want the Iraqi people to have freedom.."

etc..etc...

2. We are deeply sorry
that you have chosen Saadam Hussein to be your President but we are not going to release him just the same. We will have a do-over in a couple of months. Thank you for your continued servitude. G.Bush

4. The Iraqi people have spoken and the election was a tremendous success
however the Iraqi people have much work to do in writing their constitution which is sorely needed to get the nation moving forward.

5. "They're turning a corner."
Hey, gotta love those golden oldies. Plus, he already spent the three hours memorizing that one. It'll save time.
