DU'ers: In light of our '04 loss and looking toward '06...
I encourage all DU'ers who aren't already involved locally to check in with your "home town" Democratic Party. The Congressional elections, as well as local contests, are an opportunity to have our voices heard and build an effective counter to the Republican agenda. Thanks.

1. Correction. We won -- the election was stolen.

3. Understand. Election process reform, across the board, is a great role
for the Democratic Party.

4. We won, but I appreciate the spirit of your post.
Our state party chair came to a DFA Meet-Up and practically begged the grassroots Progressives there to get involved in our county party. They NEED people - in exchange, we get INFLUENCE. Magic!

8. It's time to get involved in Congressional races....
If you can't run, then find someone who can and let's take back the House. That is where the strength of the Democratic Party has to be - not the presidency. It is the House of Representatives that must represent the people.
