1. What would be a NEGATIVE consequence if they ALL did?
It won't change the confirmation, (unless the Republicans were dumb enough not to show up) but what would happen?
I mean, why SHOULDN'T they all vote no?

3. It soesn't matter. She'll be confirmed anyway. Better fights to come.
I believe the Dems have to pick their battles since they're in the minority. Why bother with Condi? Is she a Shrub A kisser? Sure/ Is she going to find herself in a whole new program of responcibility? YUP! Let this one go. Let her sink with Shrub.

8. Why? What's the harm?
You get to fight in more than one "battle".. Would a unanimous "nay" from the Democrats make the Republicans mad or something? What could they possibly do that they haven't already done?

10. Of course you and fight more than one battle! Hate me if you wish,
but I believe we can gain the support of many independants buy choosing our battles, and not appearing to fight EVERYTHING!

We already have our base. We need to convince the independants that we have the better ideas, can govern better, and would offer them a better life than they have now.

Condi's not going to fight Shrub on any of his ideas, but neither would any other candidate he proposed. That's his style.

It's a much better idea to fight against Rummy, & Gonzales. Both have provable evidence against them.

12. How are our ideas "better" if we condone
the appointment of someone who refused to answer why she personally had the anti-torture language taken OUT of a recent Intelligence Bill?

Why should Independents look at us askance for objecting to that?
