An Election Alone Does Not Make A Democracy

One could make an argument that sometimes an "election" might destroy a democracy. As the Administration and their puppets in Iraq attempt to get a significant number of people to the polls, the PR campaign is under way to portray it as some type of victory for democracy. Do not be deceived. Even Saddam had elections.

And do not be surprised if you hear in the next few days that Diebold is helping to count the votes. It would be a farce if it wasn't such a disaster.
