Chapter of Free Republic, an independent grassroots organization, will be holding a demonstration at the White House this evening in support of former Talon News White House Correspondent Jeff Gannon and the rights of other reporters to do their jobs without fear of being destroyed by the political establishment

They say we're upset because Gannon asked a question we didn't like. And we don't like free speech and free reporting. And we're getting distracted by side issues like his past as a prostitute and he'd fit in with Massachusetts legislators (given our values) and we're making wild allegations. Though there are some who say they don't see how they can support "Gannon", given his lies, deceptions and male prostitute websites (especially the Marine ones). So there is hope.

Seriously though...there's enough angles to this story (gay male hooker, no credentials, softball questions, connections to Valerie Plame, etc) to really nail the Freepers on their hypocrisy regarding good journalism, shady corruption in the White House, the "propaganda" of White House Journalists, the hypocrisy of anti-gay rhetoric when they work with gay male hookers, etc.
