I hope every DUer reading this takes the time to go to the Buy Blue site and there is another one that escapes my mind and look at the companies that SUPPORT you r point of view.

Political scientists and philosophers have fought for years over the definition of fascism. I believe that Mussolini had it correct. He defined fascism as a merging of state and corporate power. He was right. His exact quote is, "Fascism should more appropriately be called "corporatism", for it is the merging of the power of corporations with the power of the state".

We are seeing his definition come to life before our very eyes in the form of a uniquely American brand of fascism. Our fascism is even more pernicious than Mussolini could have imagined because our neo-fascist GOP leaders have the benefit of decades of research on ways to form, alter and direct mass opinion using the medium of television. The awesome power of Madison Avenue isn't just for selling soap. It is being aimed directly at Americans in the form of propaganda created to foster all the hallmarks of a fascist state. I cannot think of a more effective weapon against the corporations as the "buy blue" program. Tell everyone you know and most importantly, TELL THE CORPORATIONS you are punishing them for their actions.

I hope people kick this!

4. Thanks for the link.
I do a lot of mail-order both for my personal consumption as well as for my business. I'd stopped ordering completely from companies that give heavily to repugs and are headquartered in Red States. I figure they don't need my money.
