Gore/Feingold
What do DUers think of a Gore/Feingold or Feingold/Gore ticket in 2008? I think this would make a good ticket in that both of them are pretty strong liberals willing to stand up to Republicans. In addition, I think a large number of people will support their ideas.

1. I am all for it.
I really like Feingold and I am not against Gore running, so it sounds great to me.

4. Which red state would turn blue for
Gore/Feingold? I can't come up with one that would make an electoral difference.

2. Four Novembers from now, if a Gore/Feingold ticket --
-- runs against a Frist/Hutcheson ticket, for example, I'd go with Al and Russ over Bill and KayBailey.

5. I like them both but I dunno if they could win
you realize Gore is tough on defense and is actually pro-life right? He switched to pro-choice when he ran for president in 2000.

Gore's been out of office for a while now. It would be tough to make a comeback.

Feingold is a good guy, but a senator has tons of votes to nitpick and spin. They roasted Kerry and Edwards over this and painted them as the most liberal people ever to run...even more liberal than FDR or Socialist Eugene Debs. insane

6. I think it's so funny
how they painted Kerry and Edwards as "most liberal" and then when Boxer started coming in the light some with Ohio and the Rice hearings she was painted as "most liberal." :eyes: They paint the word "Liberal" as evil and something to be afraid of when it's not. So whenever someone from the democratic side appears to be a threat they beat out the old "liberal" drum.

7. Those are my two favorites for President, but...
I can't imagine either of them as a running mate. I guess it would have to be Gore/Feingold, but I still can't picture the ticket.
