Stages of Distraction in the Press
It's easy to look at Gannon and think he's the real story.

But then there are the recently released tapes. To distract
from Gannon?

Gannon distracts us from the massive Social Security fraud...

Which distracts us from the huge defecits POnoTUS favors...

Isn't that the real story? Getting caught up in these other
things is like fearing bullets and forgetting bombs.

2. We can never really know...
... but this is what I think.

I don't think Gannon is an intentional distraction. I do, however, think that the tapes are a distraction from Gannon.

I just get the feeling, I cannot necessarily justify it logically, that there is a lot more to the Gannon story than has as yet met the eye. I don't think they intended for it to become an issue, I think that they are just that dumb and arrogant.

However, it seems to me that the timing of the release of these tapes could be easily, and probably was, controlled.

The administration's approach to SS is not one of distraction, it is one of disinformation.

3. Wead is even regretting
releasing the tapes right on cue. Oh yes, stuff like this ("When the Texas governor was told that he had pledged that he would not hire gays if he were to become president, he retorted, "No, what I said was, I wouldn't fire gays. . . . . I'm not going to discriminate against people.") must be terribly damaging to the shrub! NOT.

Those excerpts are freaking perfect. Shit, if they're real I even like him better now.

shrub does not use words like "discriminate" all by himself.

4. The Busheviks have learned from the Bolsheviks
Google Trotsky "perpetual revolution" and you will see the originator of Bushevik policy strategy.

Combined with Hitler's BIG LIE Strategy which the Busheviks use so well, and you have your answer as to what the real story is.

5. We have got to get someone to investigate
the Gannon/Rathergate connection. I know in my gut that he
is up to his eyeballs in it. My gut feelings are very seldom
wrong. In fact, my late mother-in-law thought I had a gift.

Anyway, I believe this is the reason than Gannon resigned so
quickly, and is now threatening lawsuits. He is very afraid of
something bigger coming out. Otherwise, he would have just
crawled back under his rock and stayed there.

We have to keep digging.
