They would/could be considered the same front just spread out further.Kind of like the European theatre was for us in WWII. France, Germany, and Italy did not have cruise missles and nukes though. That makes a bit of difference. Also I would suspect that if we were to attack Iran Chemical weapons would be in use. Our military may be prepared but the civilian population centers sure would not be. Any country that hosts US troops would be in the firing line.
